India Captain Rohit Sharma Gets Mobbed by Fans in California - WATCH Viral Video

During his presence at an event in the United States of America, Team India skipper Rohit Sharma was greeted warmly by his fans. Rohit, who is currently on rest for the ongoing T20I series against the West Indies, was surrounded by supporters as he exited his car to attend an event in Milpitas, California.

Before being brought inside, the star batter took photographs and welcomed the crowd. Jeeven Santhosh, a San Francisco-based Twitter user, tweeted the popular video.

During the same event, Rohit dropped a huge clue indicating that he has no plans to retire anytime soon.

In a viral video, Rohit can be heard discussing the 2024 T20 World Cup, which will be held in the United States of America and the West Indies. During the Milpitas event, Rohit stated that he is looking forward to next year's huge event.

"There is another reason to come here (in the United States) than just going and having fun." Because you are aware that the World Cup is approaching. The T20 World Cup (2024) will be held in this region of the world in June. So I'm sure everyone is ecstatic. So, yeah, we're excited about it," Rohit stated in the video.

Rohit hasn't played in T20Is recently, with Hardik Pandya taking over as captain in the shortest version of the game. In fact, his most recent T20 match was earlier this year during the Indian Premier League (IPL).

India is currently engaged in a three-match T20I series against the West Indies. The visitors trail 1-0, with the second T20I scheduled on Sunday.
