Cricket World Cup 2023: " Why Not Show Him The Movie 83..." - Former Indian star's sharp reply To Pakistan Team Director

Cricket World Cup 2023: " Why Not Show Him The Movie 83..." - Former Indian star's sharp reply To Pakistan Team Director
Cricket World Cup 2023: The ex-Indian cricket team fast bowler delivered a clever comeback in response to Mickey Arthur's remarks about the upcoming India-Pakistan match in the Cricket World Cup 2023.

Cricket World Cup 2023: S Sreesanth, the former fast bowler of the Indian cricket team, expressed his dissatisfaction with the comments made by Pakistan Team Director Mickey Arthur.

Arthur stated that the Cricket World Cup 2023 felt more like a "BCCI event" rather than a "ICC event". After Pakistan's defeat against India, Arthur expressed his dissatisfaction with the insufficient support for Pakistan at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. He also hinted at a possible advantage for the Indian cricket team.

In a recent interview with Sportskeeda, Sreesanth expressed his opinion that whenever India plays, the atmosphere feels like a BCCI event.

He also suggested that Arthur should watch the movie '83' with subtitles.

Whenever India participates in an ICC event, it often feels as though the event lacks the usual excitement and atmosphere.

The event will consistently give the impression of being organised by the BCCI. We should consider showing Arthur the movie "83" with subtitles.

Then he will be able to comprehend the current position of BCCI in comparison to its past. The journey holds great significance. This story is both motivational and inspirational.

The BCCI has achieved great success through its own efforts, despite facing numerous challenges along the way. Both the administrators and players have shown significant improvement.

Even if our C team were to participate in the World Cup, it would undoubtedly be an exceptional team. What will the International Cricket Council (ICC) say? All the revenues and other financial aspects... If the World Cup were being held in England, would Mickey Arthur have expressed the same opinion? He added, "Even during the two years I played in Durban, I felt like I was in India."

Legendary Pakistan pacer Wasim Akram, meanwhile, criticised Arthur for his comments.

During a chat on A-Sports, Akram expressed his frustration towards Arthur and questioned him about his strategy for his batters to confront the enigmatic spinner, Kuldeep Yadav. Akram found Arthur's comments to be nonsensical.

"Bhaiya hame ye batao aap logo ne kya plan kiya tha? (Brother, tell me what was the plan?) Kuldeep Yadav ko kaese khelna hai? (How did you prepare to play Kuldeep Yadav?) That's what we want to hear. Not this random stuff. You think you can get away with this. No, you can't, unfortunately," he said.
