The popular sitcom "Friends" star Matthew Perry, who played the witty yet tender Chandler Bing, passed away on Saturday from what appears to have been drowning.
Reportedly, the 54-year-old actor, who was nominated for an Emmy, was discovered dead in his bathtub. He portrayed a key role in 'Chandler Bing', as the witty, nervous and neurotic flatmate of Matt LeBlanc's Joey and Ross's close buddy played by David Schwimmer.
His interpretation of the role was so well-known that it won praise from admirers everywhere. Cricket player Dinesh Karthik expressed homage as soon as word of his passing spread via a moving post on X (previously Twitter).
