The greatest match of the upcoming Asia Cup 2023 will take place on September 2 in Kandy between archrivals India and Pakistan. Tickets for the India vs. Pakistan Asia Cup 2023 match will go on sale on Thursday.
While the sale of tickets for the Pakistan leg of the Asia Cup 2023 has already begun, the sale of tickets for the Sri Lanka leg of the tournament will begin on August 17 at 12:30pm (IST).
"As hosts of the ACC Men's Asia Cup 2023, the Pakistan Cricket Board is pleased to announce the sale of match tickets for the Sri Lanka leg of the event." "Tickets for the first phase of the Sri Lanka leg will go on sale at 12 p.m. (noon) PST on August 17," stated PCB in a release.
Tickets for the India-Pakistan match will be available on the website 'pcb (dot) bookme (dot) pk'. The news will also be made on the official social media accounts of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
"The second phase of ticket sales for the Sri Lanka leg will begin on August 17 at 6:30 p.m. PST."
"The much-anticipated match between Pakistan and India on September 2nd will be included in this second phase of ticket sales," the PCB statement stated.
Sri Lanka will host nine matches, including the championship event. The Sri Lanka leg will begin on August 31 with the home team taking against Bangladesh at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium.
The PCB also stated in the statement that a total of two tickets will be available per fan for the India vs. Pakistan match, and spectators will be required to show an identity card or a copy of their passport.
All other matches allow for the purchase of four tickets per supporter.
Tickets for the Asia Cup 2023 matches in Pakistan went on sale last week. The tournament begins on August 30 at Multan, Pakistan, with Pakistan playing Nepal.
The Asia Cup 2023 will be held in a hybrid format, with four matches hosted by Pakistan and all of Rohit Sharma's Team India's matches, as well as a total of nine fixtures, held in the Emerald Isle, Sri Lanka.
Group A includes the Babar Azam-led Pakistan and Nepal, while Group B includes Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Afghanistan.
