ODI World Cup 2023: Bangladesh Cricket Unveils New Jersey For Marquee 50-Over Tournament

ODI World Cup 2023: Bangladesh Cricket Unveils New Jersey For Marquee 50-Over Tournament

The colours of the country are shown on the front of the new kit, which is mostly green with shades of red.

After revealing their 15-man squad for the tournament, Bangladesh's cricket team presented their shirt for the 2023 ICC Men's Cricket World Cup. The new uniform boldly displays the national colours of green and red tones on the front.

Bangladesh recently played a 2-0 losing ODI series against New Zealand as part of their World Cup preparations. Bangladesh suffered with a batting collapse in the series' last ODI, reaching just 171 runs before being bowled out. The captain, Najmul Hossain Shanto, offered some opposition with his 76-run strike.

The most impressive bowler was Adam Milne of New Zealand, who claimed 4 wickets for 34 runs. With seven wickets remaining, New Zealand easily reached the mark; Will Young and Henry Nicholls played a major role in the win.

Bangladesh is preparing for the World Cup despite losing the series. They have two warm-up matches against Sri Lanka and England before taking on Afghanistan in Dharamsala on October 7.

Sadly, top opener Tamim Iqbal has been ruled out of the World Cup due to back discomfort he experienced during the New Zealand series. No longer will he be included in the squad. Bangladesh is now less prepared to compete in the famous event in India, which is a blow.

Bangladesh's ODI World Cup Squad: Shakib Al Hasan (capt), Mushfiqur Rahim, Litton Das (vice-capt), Najmul Hossain Shanto, Towhid Hridoy, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Taskin Ahmed, Mustafizur Rahman, Hasan Mahmud, Shoriful Islam, Nasum Ahmed, Mahedi Hasan, Tanzid Hasan, Tanzim Hasan, Mahmudullah.
