ODI World Cup 2023: India Receive Traditional Welcome After Reaching Thiruvananthapuram Ahead Of Netherlands Warm-Up Match | WATCH

The Netherlands will play India, lead by Rohit Sharma, on Tuesday, October 3, at Thiruvananthapuram's Greenfield International Stadium.
The Indian squad left Guwahati on Sunday and arrived in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, for their second warm-up match against the Netherlands before beginning their ICC ODI World Cup 2023 campaign against Australia in Chennai on October 8.
The India team, captained by Rohit Sharma, will meet the Netherlands on Tuesday, October 3 at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram.
As the members of Men in Blue exited the terminal, several supporters gathered outside the airport chanted, 'India, India.'
In a recent video posted on the ICC's official Instagram account on Sunday, Indian players were shown receiving a warm and traditional welcome from the city's hotel.
Due to incessant rain, the first warm-up match between India and defending champions England was rained off in Guwahati without a single ball being bowled.
With KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, and Jasprit Bumrah all making successful comebacks from long-term ailments, the Rohit Sharma-led squad now has a full-strength roster at its disposal.
The biggest advantage is that all three have produced outstanding comebacks after recovering from injury, with KL Rahul striking a century against Pakistan at the Asia Cup 2023 event, Iyer hammering a thundering tonne against the Aussies, and Bumrah consistently scalping wickets.
However, India's preparation for the huge event is solid, as Men in Blue are on a winning streak. The Men in Blue won the Asia Cup 2023 title in Sri Lanka, while the Indian team just defeated five-time champions Australia at home, winning the series 2-1.
India World Cup squad: Rohit Sharma (c), Hardik Pandya (vc), Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul, Ravindra Jadeja, Shardul Thakur, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Shami, Ravichandran Ashwin Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav.
