"Rahul Dravid Has Become A Soft Target…": Ex-India Pacer's Explosive Statement

Rahul Dravid, the head coach of the Indian cricket team, has been getting a lot of negative attention after the team's poor performance in the T20I series against the West Indies.

The Indian squad captain Hardik Pandya lost the first two games of the five-match series. This led many former cricket players and experts to question what he has done as a coach and how much he has helped the team prepare for the ODI World Cup 2023.

Dodda Ganesh, a former fast bowler for India, came to Dravid's defence and said that he has become a "soft target" for criticism.

"Stop telling Rahul Dravid off about everything. He had nothing to do with how the captain switched spinners today. Rahul has become an easy target lately because he doesn't say much in the media. #DoddaMathu #CricketTwitter #WIvIND," Ganesh wrote.

On the other hand, Danish Kaneria, a former spinner for Pakistan, was very critical of Dravid and even said that he doesn't deserve to be a T20 coach.

"Why doesn't this Indian team try hard enough? Because Ashish Nehra is on Gujarat Titians, Hardik Pandya has done very well with them. India needs to be more serious in T20Is, and a teacher can help a lot with that.

Rahul Dravid was definitely a world-class player, but he doesn't deserve to be a T20 coach. He moves slowly. On the other hand, Ashish Nehra is always doing something and getting information to people in the field. In a video on his YouTube account, he said, "I think he should get a chance."
