Team India complete 2-0 Series Victory Over Ireland After Rain Washes Out Series Finale In Dublin

India's T20 season ended on a high note when they beat Ireland 2-0 in a series. The third T20I at the Malahide Sports Club in Dublin couldn't be played because of rain.

The team led by Jasprit Bumrah didn't get the chance to get a clean sweep because the game was rained out and not a single ball was played.

Rain also cut short the first T20I earlier in the series, but just enough overs were played to get a win. The Men in Blue won the first game of the series by two runs thanks to the D&L method.

Bumrah was named Player of the Match (POTM) to mark his return to international play. In the second game, all 40 overs were played. India won by 33 runs, and Rinku Singh did a good job in his first series.

In a funny twist, the sun had already come out by the time it was decided to call off the game. But because the deadline of 11:15 PM IST was getting close, it was decided that the game could not start.

There were still wet spots on the floor, which made playing the game dangerous. With the Asia Cup and World Cup coming up, India won't want to put any of their players, especially Jasprit Bumrah, at risk of getting hurt.

This is India's last T20I for three months. With two big events coming up, all of their attention is now on the 50-over version. India's next Twenty20 International (T20I) will be on November 23 against Australia, just four days after the 2023 World Cup final.

India and Australia will play a five-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series. This will be the start of a busy T20 cricket season, and the 2024 T20 World Cup is not too far away. In June 2024, the West Indies and the United States will host the 9th version of the shortest format extravaganza.
