ICC World Cup 2023 Points Table after PAK vs AFG: Afghanistan rises to sixth after beat Pakistan, India stay on top, Standings, Net Run Rate

The 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup started on October 5th with a thrilling match in Ahmedabad between the defending champion, England, and the 2019 losing finalist, New Zealand.
The 50-over tournament consists of 10 teams that will compete against each other once in a round-robin group stage format.
After the completion of the 45 group stage matches, the four teams with the highest points on the table will progress to the semifinals. These semifinal matches are scheduled to take place on November 15 and 16. The final will take place on November 19th in Ahmedabad.
On Sunday, India secured a victory over New Zealand, allowing them to surpass them in the points table and claim the top spot.
After achieving a historic first win over Pakistan in ODIs, Afghanistan has moved up four places in the rankings.
