Top Cricketrs with most ducks in one day cricket, Sanath Jayasuriya leads infamous list, Sachin Tendulkar owns Indian record
Jayasuriya, who began his 22-year ODI career in 1989 and is regarded as one of the greatest attacking batsmen of all time, scored 34 ducks in his 22-year tenure.
Shahid Afridi, who holds the record for the most sixes in ODIs, ranks second for the most errors. Between 1996 and 2015, the legendary Pakistani all-rounder was dismissed for a score of zero thirty times in 398 matches.
Wasim Akram, another Pakistani star, follows Afridi. Akram, known as the Sultan of Swing, was out for a blank 28 times in ODIs. His highest ODI score (86 runs) came against Australia in 1990.

Most ducks in ODIs by international players
Sachin Tendulkar, the Indian cricketer with the most runs in ODIs, also holds the record for the most errors in ODIs. In his legendary ODI career, which began in 1989 and ended in 2012, the 'Master Blaster' was bowled out for a duck twenty times.
Javagal Srinath (19) and Anil Kumble (18) are the next two Indian cricketers with the most failures in One-Day Internationals. The duo struggled with the bat during their limited-overs careers despite being India's bowling pillars in the 1990s.
Yuvraj Singh, the undisputed champion of India's 2011 World Cup victory, ranks fourth on the list of Indian cricketers with the most ducks in ODIs. The southpaw, who participated in 304 ODIs between 2000 and 2017, was dismissed 18 times throughout his career.
Harbhajan Singh completes the top five tally of Indian cricketers with the most ducks in ODIs. The spinner, known for some rare, crucial lower-order innings, has 17 ducks in ODI cricket and last played a 50-over match in 2015.
Virat Kohli, whose tenure as India's captain concluded in December 2021, was out without scoring in the second ODI against South Africa. His five-ball duck pushed him past colleague Rohit Sharma and current India head coach Rahul Dravid on the list of Indian cricketers with the most ducks in ODIs (13).
