Jayasuriya, who began his 22-year ODI career in 1989 and is regarded as one of the greatest attacking batsmen of all time, scored 34 ducks in his 22-year tenure.
Shahid Afridi, who holds the record for the most sixes in ODIs, ranks second for the most errors. Between 1996 and 2015, the legendary Pakistani all-rounder was dismissed for a score of zero thirty times in 398 matches.
Wasim Akram, another Pakistani star, follows Afridi. Akram, known as the Sultan of Swing, was out for a blank 28 times in ODIs. His highest ODI score (86 runs) came against Australia in 1990.

Javagal Srinath (19) and Anil Kumble (18) are the next two Indian cricketers with the most failures in One-Day Internationals. The duo struggled with the bat during their limited-overs careers despite being India's bowling pillars in the 1990s.
Yuvraj Singh, the undisputed champion of India's 2011 World Cup victory, ranks fourth on the list of Indian cricketers with the most ducks in ODIs. The southpaw, who participated in 304 ODIs between 2000 and 2017, was dismissed 18 times throughout his career.
Harbhajan Singh completes the top five tally of Indian cricketers with the most ducks in ODIs. The spinner, known for some rare, crucial lower-order innings, has 17 ducks in ODI cricket and last played a 50-over match in 2015.
