WATCH: Kuldeep Yadav Becomes Fastest Indian Bowler To Claim 50 Wickets In T20I Cricket
Kuldeep Yadav set a record by becoming the first Indian bowler to take 50 wickets in T20 Internationals in a short period of time.
Kuldeep reached this milestone during the third game of the five-game series against the West Indies at Providence Stadium in Guyana on Tuesday. It was his 30th T20I match.
The 28-year-old Kuldeep, who missed the last game because of a sore hand, had a great game. He got rid of Windies hitters Brandon King, Nicholas Pooran, and Johnson Charles by putting them in a web.
In a game that India had to win, he did well, giving up only 28 runs and three wickets in four overs.
Yuzvendra Chahal set the record for the fastest time to 50 wickets in the smallest version of the game. He did this in 34 games. Third on the list is india's pace leader Jasprit Bumrah, who has played in 41 matches.
