Yashasvi Jaiswal Breaks Shubman Gill's Record, Becomes Youngest Indian to do this...

India beat Nepal by 23 runs in the men's cricket quarterfinal, thanks to Yashavi Jaiswal's hundred.

India's rising star Yashasvi Jaiswal got his first T20I century on Tuesday, which helped his team make it to the semi-finals of the men's cricket competition at the Asian Games. With a score of 100 not out and 49, Jaiswal led India to 202/4 against Nepal in Hangzhou, China.

Instead of Shubman Gill, Jaiswal beat his own record and became the youngest Indian to score a T20I century.
Jaiswal is the youngest batter to score a hundred in a men's T20I. He is also the first person to score a hundred in a multi-sport event.

Gill set the record with 126 runs against New Zealand earlier this year, but now Jaiswal has broken it. Gill was 23 years and 146 days old at the time.

Ruturaj Gaikwad, the captain of India, won the toss and chose to bat first at the Pingfeng Campus Cricket Field.

Other Indian hitters had a hard time, but Jaiswal seemed to be batting on a different surface because he kept hitting fours. The opener who hit with his left hand made 100 off 49 balls, with eight fours and seven sixes.

India scored a big score thanks to Rinku Singh's amazing displays in the last few overs, when he was still unbeaten on 37 off 15 balls. Nepal, on the other hand, put up a strong response that made India a little worried. Their middle order fought back even though they were losing wickets all the time.

India won by 23 runs, with Nepal scoring 179 runs in 20 overs.

Three wickets were taken by Ravi Bishnoi and Avesh Khan. Ravi Sai Kishore, who was playing his first game, did very well with 1/25 from four overs and a couple of catches as well.

Jitesh Sharma, a wicketkeeper who can also bat, also played his first game for India. He got five runs and took a catch.

Even though Arshdeep Singh got a few catches, it cost him a lot because in his four overs, he let 43 runs score.

The Indian team will play again on Friday, when the semifinals are set to take place. The gold medal match will be played on Saturday.
