Asia Cup 2023: Full schedule, squads, match timings, live streaming and telecast - all you need to know
The 2023 Asia Cup will start on Wednesday, August 30, with India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Afghanistan among the six teams.
The event will be held in a hybrid way for the first time. Four games will be played in Pakistan, and the other nine games, including the final in Colombo, will be played in Sri Lanka.
The Asia Cup is very important because it decides which team is the best in Asia. However, this event is more of a dress rehearsal for the World Cup, which will be held in India in October and November.
Pakistan is very confident going into the event because they beat Afghanistan 3-0 in a three-game ODI series that took place only in Sri Lanka.
Team India will go into the event not knowing their batting order because many of their key players have been out with injuries for a long time, but they will try to get off to a good start.
