Australia, the five-time ODI World Cup champion, has lost back-to-back matches in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 against India and South Africa.

The Pat Cummins-led side is at the bottom of the table with two losses as they prepare to face Sri Lanka in World Cup 2023 match 14 on Monday at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow.

It will be a rematch of the 1996 World Cup finals in Lahore, which the Lankans famously triumphed to claim their sole World Cup championship.

So, you know, the advantage now is that we've got some teams we haven't faced in a while that we've had a lot of success against, and we can go out there and be extremely confident," Cummins added.
