Pakistan ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 New Schedule Announced: Check Complete Match Fixtures, Time-Table, Venue, Match Timings in ICC Men’s CWC 2023

The International Cricket Council (ICC) officially displayed the full schedule of matches for Babar Azam's Pakistan at the Cricket World Cup 2023 on Wednesday. The India-Pakistan match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad has been moved up a day to October 14, the biggest modification in Pakistan's World Cup schedule.

The India-Pakistan match was originally set on October 15, but it had to be rescheduled due to the first day of the Navratri season beginning on the same day. As a result, Pakistan's match against Sri Lanka in Hyderabad has been pushed back to October 10th.

Aside from that, their last league encounter against defending world champions England, which was scheduled for November 12 at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata, will instead be played on November 11 at the same location.

The Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) objected to the initial timetable since it clashed with the city's Kali Puja celebrations.

Meanwhile, Pakistan recalled allrounder Faheem Ashraf for the first time in two years for the ODI series against Afghanistan and the Asia Cup 2023.

Masood, who bats left-handed, had a disappointing home season against New Zealand this year, scoring only 52 runs in four one-day internationals after being recalled for the first time in four years.

Ashraf, who has 28 wickets and 1,060 runs in 31 One-Day Internationals, last played against England in 2021 but was summoned to provide balance to the side as a fast-bowling allrounder.

On Wednesday, newly appointed chief selector Inzamam-ul-Haq revealed the squads after meeting with team director Mickey Arthur, head coach Grant Bradbrun, and captain Babar Azam.

Pakistan will play a three-match One-Day International series against Afghanistan in Sri Lanka this month before the Asia Cup opens on August 30 in Multan. Following India's refusal to tour Pakistan for the Asia Cup because to political concerns between the two nations, the Asian Cricket Council has selected Sri Lanka as the alternate Asia Cup venue, where India will play all of its games.

Pakistan will host four matches, while Sri Lanka will host nine, including the championship match on September 17.
