ICC ODI World Cup 2023 Schedule : Following an exciting 46-match match played over ten Indian venues, the victor of the 13th edition of the premier event will be announced on November 19.


Schedule for the ICC World Cup 2023 : Hosts At MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, India will kick off their campaign against Australia on October 8. Meanwhile, the tournament's opening match pitted reigning champions England against New Zealand on October 5.

At Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium, New Zealand had an explosive start to the premier tournament, defeating England by nine wickets.

Australia holds the record for most victories in the tournament's history, having won five titles (1987, 1999, 2003, 2007, 2015). While Pakistan (1992), Sri Lanka (1996), and England (2019) have each won the trophy once, West Indies and India (1983, 2011) have won it twice each.

Since 2011, the hosting country has won the last three ICC Cricket ODI World Cups. India, captained by MS Dhoni, became the first team to win the ODI World Cup trophy at home. Australia did so in 2015, and England did so in 2019.

On November 19, the Rohit Sharma-led Indian team will try to extend their winning run as the home team in the summit match at the biggest cricket stadium in the world.

Ten locations around the nation will host the tournament's thirteenth edition. From October 5 to November 19, 48 matches will be held in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Dharamsala, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Pune, and Hyderabad.
