South Africa is getting ready to play the Netherlands in the 15th match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.

The game will take place on Tuesday at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala. With big wins over Sri Lanka and Australia so far, South Africa is close to the top of the table.

But Temba Bavuma's team won't want to be too easy on the Dutch. Unfortunately for South Africa, they lost shockingly to the Netherlands in Adelaide last year in the T20 World Cup 2022 match, which meant they didn't make it to the semifinals.

"We won't be taking them easily at all. Yesterday there was a T20 World Cup. This year there is a 50-over World Cup. It's a different style, and it requires you to use your skills for a longer time.

"So, I think that's something we should all value," Bavuma said at the Monday news conference in Dharamsala before the game.

"Like I said, we played them in South Africa, and I thought our wins there were very well." So I think it's still up there in terms of how confident and sure of ourselves the team is without being cocky or loud about it.

We still value opposition, and not just opposition from the Netherlands. Any opposition you can think of on a world level is welcome.

"But we'll be ready for the game with the same attitude we had against Sri Lanka and Australia," he said.

With the weather in Dharamsala in mind, South Africa could make one change to their team by replacing Chinese bowler Tabraiz Shamsi with fast bowler Gerald Coetzee.
