This is Team India's Predicted XI vs Ireland, 1st T20I: Will Rinku Singh, Jitesh Sharma Make Debut?

Team India, led by fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah, will play Ireland in the first T20I of the three-match series on Friday in Dublin.

Following a five-match series loss to the West Indies, Team India seeks retribution against Ireland. This series also saw the comeback of pacers Bumrah and Prasidh Krishna, who had back surgery and had to rehabilitate for a lengthy time.

The squad also includes IPL 2023 players Rinku Singh, Jitesh Sharma, Tilak Varma, and Yashasvi Jaiswal.

Bumrah, 29, is back after undergoing surgery to heal lower-back stress fractures he suffered during a home series against Australia ahead of the T20 World Cup last year.

He will bowl a maximum of 12 overs in three games over five days, but this series will provide Ajit Agarkar, ODI skipper Rohit Sharma, and head coach Rahul Dravid a good indication of where the Gujarat slinger stands in terms of match fitness.

The Ireland series will not only provide Bumrah with an opportunity to add miles to his legs, but it will also help him prepare for the Asia Cup, when he will face off against the likes of Babar Azam on September 2.

Except for Bumrah and Sanju Samson, the players in this Indian team will be competing for gold at the Asian Games in Hangzhou, and the core team will be looking to make the most of the three T20Is.

Here's what we think can be the India's Playing XI for the 1st T20I against Ireland:

India's Predicted XI: Ruturaj Gaikwad, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sanju Samson (wk), Tilak Varma, Rinku Singh, Shivam Dube, Washington Sundar, Jasprit Bumrah (c), Ravi Bishnoi, Arshdeep Singh, Mukesh Kumar
