Yashasvi Jaiswal not to make T20I debut? Sanju Samson likely to stay; IND's Probable XI for 2nd T20I vs WI

On August 6, the second Twenty20 International between India and the West Indies will be battled at Providence Stadium as the Indian side tries to get back into the series.

In the second meet of the ongoing five-match series, West Indies, captained by Rovman Powell, will face off against Hardik Pandya's team. The Indian team's reserve squad lost the opening T20I by four runs after failing to meet the 150-run target on Thursday at Brian Lara Academy.

The Men in Blue were in danger after Tilak Varma left despite his stellar start. Sanju Samson and Hardik Pandya made an effort to revive India's hopes, but their dismissals helped the West Indies inch closer to victory.

Arshdeep Singh's little battle was insufficient for the visitors to claim victory. Now that the action has moved to Guyana, a fan may be wondering which side India would support.

Jaiswal not to make debut? Samson likely to stay

Yashasvi Jaiswal made a great start for India in the Test series against the West Indies by hitting a remarkable century on his first game. But Shubman Gill and Ishan Kishan seem to be set at the top of the order, making it hard for this young player to join the team.

Sanju Samson, on the other hand, has not played much international cricket lately. He played in two ODIs and the first T20I for India against West Indies. But besides Jaiswal, the team doesn't have any other hitters.

What about bowlers and all-rounders

Gill, Kishan, Samson, and Hardik Pandya are all expected to play, but the opening order might not change. The only choice would be whether or not to add Ravi Bishnoi and Umran Malik. But both Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav bowled well in the first T20I, which could stop Bishnoi. Arshdeep Singh got two wickets, and Mukesh Kumar's economy was fine.

India's Probable Playing XI:

Shubman Gill, Ishan Kishan (wk), Suryakumar Yadav, Tilak Varma, Hardik Pandya (c), Sanju Samson, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Arshdeep Singh, Mukesh Kumar/Umran Malik
