R Ashwin's Epic Reply To Pakistan Fan Trolling Indian Star Over Shahid Afridi's Asia Cup 2014 Sixes Wins Heart

Afrid Ashwin

It made people cry when Ravichandran Ashwin replied to a troll about the 2014 Asia Cup match between India and Pakistan. Someone made fun of Ashwin because he bowled two sixes that won the game for Afridi. Ashwin is on the Indian team for the 2023 World Cup after being unexpectedly called up when Axar Patel got hurt.

Shahid Afridi, the legendary cricketer from Pakistan, sealed a remarkable victory for the Men in Green at the Sher-E-Bangla Stadium by a one-wicket margin in a spectacular finale, marking one of the most famous episodes in the history of India-Pakistan cricket.

With Ravichandran Ashwin bowling the final over of the match, India appeared to be drawing to a close. However, Afridi produced a spectacular climax, hitting two consecutive sixes to put Pakistan over the finish line. India lost as a result of the outcome, and they were also unable to go to the final.

Following the cancellation of India's opening 2023 World Cup warm-up match against England, Ashwin spoke on social media about his conversation with broadcaster Dinesh Karthik.

When a Pakistani fan attempted to ridicule Ashwin for Afridi's sixes, Ashwin responded with a classy response that won over hearts on both sides of the border.

"Man, those were some pretty nice images.Really impressed with him for his excellent ball striking," Ashwin wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Fans from both Pakistan and India praised Ashwin's answer from both sides of the border.

In reference to Ashwin, he was unexpectedly called up to the Indian squad for the 2023 World Cup despite having only played two ODIS in the six years preceding his call-up for the Australia series. Following Axar Patel's injury, Ashwin was picked as India's replacement for the all-round player. Patel was not included in the first selection.

Following a significant deluge, strong showers drenched the Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati, making play during the India-England warm-up impossible. Before the sunshine gave way to gloomy skies, India had won the toss and elected to bat first.
Now, on Tuesday, October 3, India will play their second warm-up game in Thirivunthapuram.
