BCCI President Roger Binny, VP Rajiv Shukla to travel to Lahore for Asia Cup matches - Report

Roger Binny, the president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), and Rajiv Shukla, who actually is the vice president, will reportedly go to Lahore for Asia Cup matches.

The Asian body announced the schedule for the event a month ago. Pakistan will host four games and Sri Lanka will host the rest.

According to a story from PTI, Indian Cricket Board President Binny and Vice President Shukla have agreed to go to Lahore in September for a couple of Asia Cup matches. It is said that the two will be in Lahore from September 4 to September 7.

The story also says that the PCB invited all of the top officials, and Binny and Shukla have been given permission by the BCCI to attend.Binny, Shukla, and Jay Shah, who is the secretary, will be in Sri Lanka for the big match between India and Pakistan on September 2 in Pallekele (Kandy).

The three of them will go back to India on September 3, and then the BCCI president and vice-president will go to Lahore through the Wagah border, a source told PTI.

On August 30, Pakistan will play Nepal in the first game of the Asia Cup. This will take place in Multan. Then, the next two games will be in Kandy.

The two officials came with their wives to the Governor's house on September 4 for an official dinner that will be put on by PCB. It is said that the two will watch the game between Afghanistan and Sri Lanka on September 5 in Lahore, and that Pakistan will play its first Super Four game on September 6.
