Brandon King's unbeaten 85 run off just 55 balls on Sunday destroyed Team India's hopes of winning the five-match T20I series against the West Indies.

West Indies made a mockery of the target by chasing it down in just 18 overs after restricting the visitors to 165/9 in 20 overs.

Nicholas Pooran, who hammered 47 runs off 35 deliveries, helped King's 85-run knock. West Indies won the five-match series 3-2, and Pooran was named Player of the Series.

After a historic victory, the West Indies wicketkeeper was unable to attend the post-match presentation because he needed to catch a flight. Pooran, on the other hand, communicated his excitement in a unique way via an Instagram reel.

Pooran took to social media to share a video of himself and his teammate Akeal Hosein performing the 'zipping up the mouth' motion. "If you know, you know," the reel's caption stated.

This gesture by the Caribbean did not sit well with Indian supporters, who showed their displeasure in the comments section.

Pooran batted brilliantly, finishing the five-match T20I series as the highest run-scorer with 176 runs.

Earlier in the third T20I, the West Indies star was removed for 20, and India captain Hardik Pandya took advantage of the situation to rattle Pooran.

"Nicky (Pooran) did not bat, which allowed us to keep our pacers back and allowed Axar to bowl four overs." If Nicky wants to hit, let him, and that was the goal; I relish this type of competitiveness. "I know he'll hear this and come after me in the fourth T20I," Hardik stated at the post-match presentation ceremony.

Pooran was unquestionably a standout for the West Indies in their T20I series against India.
