Even if Ishan Kishan scores 1000 runs in one innings, he will be second choice – Pakistani Legend slams India’s think-tank

Ishan Kishan scored three fifties to help India win the ODI series against the West Indies by a score of 2-1. But the people in charge of managing the team haven't given Ishan enough chances.

He is expected to be taken off the team for the Asia Cup in 2023, when Rohit Sharma will come back to play with Shubman Gill at the top of the order.

Salman Butt, who used to be the captain of Pakistan, is angry about how Kishan was treated by the Indian think-tank.

"India's Ishan project was hard to understand. He was taken off the team after getting 200. The managers of India should accept that he is the second choice. Even if he gets 1000 runs in one inning, he won't be the first choice. That will never make you feel like you're the best.

That makes you feel like you'll be recognised for how well you do. No matter what you do, you feel like you'll be the second choice," Butt said.
