Sanju Samson posted on social media after being left out of India's ODI squad for the upcoming series against Australia, saying he "chooses to move forward."

The One-Day International series is critical for India's preparations for the World Cup, which begins next month. Samson has also been left out of India's World Cup roster.

Kuldeep Yadav of China and all-rounder Hardik Pandya will also miss the first two games of the three-match series, which begins on September 22. "Whatever it is!! "I choose to keep moving forward," Samson wrote in the description of his Instagram image.

Samson has played in less than 50 international games for India despite making his international debut in 2014. He has played 13 One-Day Internationals for India, amassing 390 runs in 12 innings at an average of 55.71 and a strike rate of 104.00. He has three half-centuries, the best of which is 86*.

His T20I statistics are as follows: 374 runs in 24 matches and 21 innings at a strike rate of 133.57 and an average of 19.68. He has one half-century, with a top score of 77.

Samson was last chosen to play on this year's West Indies trip, which took place in July and August. While he got a half-century in his final ODI and 60 runs in two matches altogether, he was ineffective in the T20I series. He scored 32 runs in three innings, with the highest score being 13.

Following that, he was named a travelling reserve for the Asia Cup between Pakistan and Sri Lanka, while KL Rahul missed the first two games due to a niggle. However, due to KL's great form upon his return during the Super Four stage and Ishan Kishan's constant run of scores, he did not get to play a single match.

Samson's brave hitting against spin and pace has garnered him acclaim and support from his supporters. In 152 IPL games, he has scored 3,888 runs at an average of 29.23 and a strike rate of little over 137. He has three centuries and twenty fifties, with a top score of 119. The ODI World Cup, which begins on October 5, is being hosted by India.
