WATCH: MS Dhoni Celebrates Chandrayaan-3 Landing On Moon In A Ranchi Gym, Fans Can’t Stay Calm

MS Dhoni, the former captain of India, is still one of the most loyal people, and that was shown again on a big day for the country. With their Chandrayaan-3 project, India became the first country to land on the south pole of the moon on Wednesday. MS Dhoni, captain of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK), celebrated with the rest of the country.

A video of MS Dhoni, who was wearing a blue tank top and gym shorts, praising the landing of Chandrayaan-3's Lander module went viral on social media. Thala's wife Sakshi Dhoni shared a video of their daughter Ziva Dhoni enjoying the landing at their home in Ranchi earlier in the day. MS Dhoni, on the other hand, seemed to be at the gym when the Chandrayaan-3 event was happening.

Fans couldn't stay cool after seeing MS Dhoni celebrate. After seeing Ziva Dhoni's video, one said, "Like father, like daughter," and another said, "MSD loves his country, Proud to be an Indian."

Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli, two of India's most famous cricketers, joined MS Dhoni in posting on social media about how happy they were that India made history when the Chandrayaan-3 lander module successfully landed on the moon's South Pole on Wednesday, making it the first country to do so.

India took a big step forward Wednesday night when the Chandrayaan-3 lander module landed on the South Pole of the moon. It made up for the sadness of Chandrayaan-2's crash landing four years ago.

Tendulkar said that the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) shows the "best of India." "…@ISRO shows India at its best. Women and men who are humble and work hard, getting together to face challenges and make our tricolour fly high. The Chandrayaan-2 team, led by Shri K. Sivan, and the Chandrayaan-3 team, led by Shri S. Somanath, deserve praise and congratulations from India.

Every hard landing on the moon and in life teaches us something that helps us get closer to a soft landing. "Jai Hind!" Tendulkar wrote on Twitter.

Virat Kohli also told the ISRO scientists how proud he was of what they had done. "Congratulations to the team working on #Chandrayaan3. You've made the country happy. Jai Hind!" Kohli wrote on Twitter.

This makes India the fourth country, after the US, China, and Russia, to safely land on the moon's surface. It is also the first to land on the south side of Earth's only natural satellite, so it will go down in history as the first to do so.
