MS Dhoni Plays Golf With Former US President Donald Trump

Former US President Donald Trump recently extended an invitation to legendary India captain MS Dhoni to play golf while he is on vacation in the US. Trump invited the two-time cricket world cup champion to play golf.

Hitesh Sanghvi, a buddy of Dhoni's who is an entrepreneur, posted a photo of the two on his Instagram page.

"We are grateful to the President for having us golf with @mahi7781, @realdonaldtrump, and @rajiv.knack," Sanghvi posted.

Being the avid sportsman that he is, Dhoni also went to watch the men's singles US Open 2023 quarterfinal match between Alexander Zverev and the reigning champion Carlos Alcaraz, which the former won decisively.

Since Dhoni is a fan of tennis, he has been seen taking part in matches in the past.

Earlier this year, in an exciting last-ball match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Dhoni guided the Chennai Super Kings to an IPL record-tying fifth triumph.

Speculation that the 2023 Indian Premier League would be his last season led many fans to gather in large numbers to witness him play for CSK during the season.

He hasn't officially commented on ending his IPL career, but he has hinted that it will depend on how well his body holds up for now.

Interestingly, Dhoni, a batter and wicketkeeper, played the entire season with a knee injury that limited his range of motion. He frequently had a limp and walked with a knee brace.

After the IPL season ended, he had surgery right away to address the problem.

Most people agree that Dhoni is among the best cricket players to have ever played the sport. The World T20, ODI World Cup, and Champions Trophy are the three main ICC trophies in limited-overs cricket that he is the only captain to have won.

The 42-year-old has continued to play for CSK in the IPL even after quitting international cricket in 2020.
