Big Blow For Pakistan! Star Fast Bowler Might Miss World Cup 2023 Due To Injury: Report

Big Blow For Pakistan! Star Fast Bowler Might Miss World Cup 2023 Due To Injury: Report

The dream of an India vs. Pakistan final at the Asia Cup 2023 for the first time in the tournament's history stayed a dream because the Men in Green lost their final Super Fours match to Sri Lanka and were kicked out of the event.

Even worse, two of their best pacers, Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah, were sent home after the match against India because they were hurt. Now, their problems are even worse because it looks like Naseem Shah might not be able to play in the important 2023 World Cup.

ESPN Cricinfo said that one of Pakistan's best fast bowlers, Naseem Shah, might miss the whole World Cup because of a shoulder injury that looks worse than first thought after being scanned. The Pakistan Cricket Board is expected to get a second opinion, but scans show that the injury could keep him out for the rest of the year.

Doctors worry that Naseem Shah might not be able to play cricket for three months. This would mean that the 20-year-old pacer will not only miss the World Cup 2023, but also the game against Australia and the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Naseem Shah walked back to the locker room after the 46th over of the Super Fours game against India. He hurt a muscle in the shoulder he used to bowl with. Later, the injury forced him to drop out of the competition, and Zaman Khan took his place.
Haris Rauf, who is also a fast bowler for Pakistan, got hurt during the game against India and was also kicked out of the Asia Cup.

Reports say that Rauf could miss the first few games of the World Cup 2023 because of his illness. This could include the important game against India on October 14 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
