For Cricket World Cup 2023: Babar Azam's Pakistan Team Receive Warm Welcome Upon Arrival In Hyderabad, Watch VIDEO
Cricket World Cup 2023: Babar Azam and company arrive in Hyderabad before of the warm-up match against New Zealand at the 2023 Cricket World Cup.

The Pakistan cricket team arrived in Hyderabad on September 27, three days before their warm-up match against New Zealand on September 29, the first day of the Cricket World Cup 2023. People in India were very friendly to Babar Azam and his team before the mega event.

Before, in Pakistan, Babar talked about the worries at a press conference and said, "We are all proud to be travelling for the World Cup." We are not under too much pressure because we have never played in India before.

We've done our homework and heard that things are going to be like they are in other Asian countries. This time, being captain of the team makes me feel very proud. I hope we bring home a prize this time.

Pakistan won't just miss not having played on Indian land. They will also miss things. Another big thing that won't be there is the home crowd at their title games.

"Unfortunately, we won't have the fans with us." But as far as I know, all of the games are sold out, so the arenas will be packed to the brim.

I know that our fans will show their love on social media, even though they won't be there in person. "I've heard that fans in India also show their love, but I haven't seen that myself yet. I'm looking forward to playing in India too," Babar said.

Pakistan squad: Babar Azam (captain), Shadab Khan (vice-captain), Abdullah Shafique, Fakhar Zaman, Haris Rauf, Hasan Ali, Iftikhar Ahmed, Imam-ul-Haq, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Rizwan (wk), Mohammad Wasim Jnr, Salman Ali Agha, Saud Shakeel, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Usama Mir.
