I want to marry him: Ramiz Raja's bizarre comment after Babar Azam's century in LPL goes viral

Ramiz Raja, formerly known to be the head of the PCB, said something strange on Monday, August 7, while praising Babar Azam, who has been in amazing form in the Lanka Premier League.

Ramiz praised Babar's consistency along with said he wants to get married to the Pakistan captain, who plays for the Colombo Strikers in the LPL in 2023.

Ramiz said this after Babar hit a hundred against Galle Titans at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, which won the game.

"Fifty for safety, style, quality, and peace. In a case like this, way back in the game, he is your man. Raja was heard saying on radio, "I love him so much I want to marry him."On social media, the video of Ramiz Raja's comments has gone global.

Galle Titans were asked to bat first and set a tough goal of 189 runs for Colombo Strikers.

In response, Babar Azam's 104 runs off 59 balls helped the Strikers cross the finish line with seven wickets left and one delivery to spare. With this hit, he became only the second player in T20 cricket, after Chris Gayle, to hit 10 centuries.

Babar has hit three centuries in international cricket and two in both the Vitality Blast and the National T20 Cup. He has also hit a hundred in the Pakistan Super League and in a tour match against Leicestershire.

With his LPL century, Babar now has 10 wickets. Gayle has 22 hundreds, which is the most in the shortest amount of time.
