WATCH: Rohit Sharma And Wife Ritika Sajdeh Take Their Rs 4.2 Crore Lamborghini Urus For A Spin, Mobbed By Fans In Mumbai

Team India captain Rohit Sharma has returned to Mumbai for a well-deserved rest before the Asia Cup 2023, which begins later this month.

Following a lengthy tour of the West Indies and sponsorship engagements in the United States, Rohit Sharma was seen returning to Mumbai and taking out his Rs 4.2 crore Lamborghini Urus automobile with his wife Ritika Sajdeh.

The video, which quickly went viral on social media, shows the Mumbai Indians captain coming out of his fancy SUV with wife Ritika Sajdeh and being swarmed by his supporters in Mumbai.

Rohit Sharma is seen shielding his wife from the large crowd that had come to witness the Indian captain.

Rohit Sharma purchased the Lamborghini Urus last March and customised it with a dual-tone mix of Ross Alala (cherry red) and Nero (black) for the cabin. The SUV is painted in a dazzling "Blu Eleos" shade of midnight blue to match the colours of Team India and his Indian Premier League (IPL) side Mumbai Indians. This shade of blue covers the whole vehicle, including the front and back bumpers.

Rohit Sharma also has a BMW M5 in blue. The Lamborghini Urus is the brand's first modern-day SUV, and it has received worldwide acclaim. In India, it has become the fastest-selling Lamborghini ever, with the company delivering more than 100 units of the high-performance SUV.

The Lamborghini Urus shares the same platform as the Volkswagen Group's other premium SUVs, including the Audi RSQ8, Bentley Bentayga, and Porsche Cayenne. The Urus's 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine is at its most powerful beneath the hood, with a maximum power output of 650 PS and a peak torque output of 850 Nm.

Meanwhile, earlier this week at a US event, Rohit Sharma was asked to pick the toughest bowler in Babar Azam's Pakistan team, and his response was funny. "Sab ache hai Pakistan team." I don't know what your name is.

Bada bada controversy hota hai (All of Pakistan's quick bowlers are excellent. I will not select any one. It sparks a lot of debate). If I remove one of the players' names, the other will feel horrible. If I steal the second player's name, the third will be upset. "I think they're all good," Rohit Sharma remarked.

Team India will face Pakistan in their Asia Cup 2023 opener on September 2 in Kandy, Sri Lanka.
